The Managing Authority of FAMI 2030 is launching a series of capacity-building workshops aimed at entities with operations approved under the FAMI 2030 Programme, to be held throughout the programme implementation period.

The first workshop is dedicated to Public Procurement, a key topic for the proper implementation of operations supported by the programme. The objective is to strengthen knowledge and ensure the correct application of essential rules in this area.

Public procurement is a fundamental pillar in the implementation of operations financed by FAMI 2030, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and legal compliance in the acquisition of goods and services.

A thorough understanding of the rules and procedures set out in the Public Procurement Code enables more effective management and reduces the risk of non-compliance.

The workshop will cover, among other topics:

• Applicability of the Public Procurement Code within the scope of FAMI 2030
• Support tools for Public Procurement under FAMI 2030
• Stages of the Public Procurement procedure

Participation is restricted to entities with operations approved under FAMI 2030 and is limited to a maximum of 25 participants per session.
